Egypt Targets Seven Million Industrial Jobs by 2030

On 3 November, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced a national target to increase industrial employment to approximately seven million workers by 2030. The government is also considering a dedicated steel-industry unit to improve coordination with manufacturers. No separate employment programme budget was disclosed. The target creates opportunities for technical recruitment firms, vocational-training institutions and workforce-development consultants.
